Stainless Steel

For those seeking high-quality, long-lasting pieces that won't break the bank, our jewellery is crafted from robust stainless steel, fortified by a 10x stronger PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating process. This makes the stainless steel collection a lifetime companion that withstands sweat, showers, and beach days without losing its colour. Our collection features two materials. The first one is Stainless Steel with gold plating. Stainless steel, known for its waterproof properties, ensures durability and resilience. Please note that our Sterling Silver jewellery is not waterproof. But what makes Stainless Steel special? Stainless steel is a robust metal with a passive layer of chromium oxide, providing resistance to corrosion. This unique property prevents rust and tarnish, allowing our jewellery to last for an extended period without the need for replacement or repair. Please be mindful that both materials need to be carefully maintained, as perfumes and chemicals can leave dirty stains on them. These items are not self-cleaning products. Neglecting the care of the jewellery may result in the accumulation of black, dirty stains over time. If your IOG jewellery fails to meet your expectations, please reach out to our customer support via hello@islandofgold.co.uk . Include a clearly visible photograph of your discoloured item, and we will promptly address the matter for you!
